A former Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) insider has asked President Bola Tinubu, seen in the photo above, to suspend the 50% telecoms tariff hike approved by the industry regulator, and address alleged hostile market takeover by MTN Nigeria, the dominant mobile network operator (MNO) said to be championing the imposition of the price increase to undermine competition.
