Capacitance Point Level Detection in Liquid Naphthalene

Capacitance point level detection in liquid naphthalene A point level measurement to avoid overfilling or emptying is required in almost all process containers today. In the chemical industry in particular, sensors are usually exposed to aggressive, adhesive or caustic materials. The measurement technology has to deal with high temperatures, varying DK values and viscosity quickly and reliably. In order to meet these conditions in practice with a clever solution, system planners are increasingly using the capacitive rod probes. The use of the capacitive RFnivo® in liquid naphthalene in a plant in India is explained in more detail below. Convinced of the measurement technology from the Allgäu for years, a UWT solution was out of the question for the project planner.
