Optimising Chromatograph Performance

Gas and liquid chromatography are indispensable techniques used in the pharmaceutical and clinical fields. They are essential for the separation, identification, and quantification of complex mixtures. These methods offer high sensitivity and precision, making them ideal for analysing a wide range of substances, from small organic compounds to large biomolecules. Creating new pieces of equipment to carry out these tasks requires numerous flow control components and it is important to focus on those that deliver the best results.

Canned Motor Pumps for Sport Facilities

Many winter sports facilities, such as luge tracks, figure skating arenas or even indoor ski and snowboard centres require operating temperatures below 0 °C. CO2 / NH3 cascade systems are often used for this purpose to ensure safe and environmentally friendly operation. These efficient and safe systems are also used at major sporting events such as world championships or the Olympic Games.

Why Choose a Diaphragm Pump For Your Application?

Countless industries across the world rely on pumps to keep their processes working at a high level of performance. The reliability of industrial pumps is very important as a failure may cause unplanned production downtime, costly repairs and even a complete lost in products being produced. Therefore, selecting the right pump for your application can help you minimize and prevent such situations.

Heavy Duty Spill Containment Pumps

In our latest project, we discuss how one of our horizontal self-priming pumps was used as a spill control pump to an industrial client who had several silos and tanks on site. They required an effective and reliable method of minimising potential damage from any spills that could not only discharge effluent into waste water courses but also used for tanker loading.

Measuring High-Range Alkalinity With CA900 Analyzer Protects Water Quality & Valuable System Infrastructure

Municipal water engineers tasked with preventing pipe corrosion by carefully balancing system pH/Alkalinity/DIC levels will find that the advanced CA900 Alkalinity Analyzer from Electro-Chemical Devices (ECD) automates the routine measurement of low- to high-range alkalinity with a cost-effective, precision approach.
Failing to detect high levels of alkalinity accurately in municipal water presents several problems such as poor water quality, over-disinfection and maintenance issues. ECD’s CA900 Alkalinity Analyzer detects alkalinity from low to high ranges, which helps municipal water engineers, technicians and staff to avoid costly state and regulatory violations, fines and civil judgments.

Clean Water for Rearing Healthy Fish High-Performance Systems for Sustainable Production in RAS

By 2030, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) predicts that 62 percent of fish and seafood intended for global consumption will come from farms. As a result of this development, the use of recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) is becoming increasingly important: they require less water and land overall and are therefore more flexible in terms of location. They also score points with higher biosecurity and productivity, lower wastewater volumes, simple monitoring and are independent of weather and environmental influences. At the same time, however, the requirements for consistently safe and high-quality RAS water treatment are increasing.
