The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance Nigeria’s tech sector, according to the Federal technology agency.
The collaboration, NITDA said, unfolded during a two-day workshop titled “Working Backwards Engagement” at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
Under the leadership of NITDA’s Director General, Kashifu Inuwa, and with guidance from the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Federal Government’s tech agency said that the workshop aimed to improve governance and service delivery in line with contemporary digital challenges.
By teaming up with AWS, a global leader in cloud services, NITDA seeks to drive operational efficiency and innovation. This collaboration not only underscores NITDA’s commitment to technological advancement but also positions Nigeria as a hub for tech innovation and entrepreneurship.
Through initiatives like this, NITDA said it aims to strengthen Nigeria’s tech ecosystem and create a brighter future for digital innovation in the country.
