The ‘armour-plated’ Oppo A3 Pro 5G smartphone debuts

Oppo has introduced the Oppo A3 Pro 5G, ingeniously designed with a damage-proof, all-round armour body that provides durability and protection for the device.

The A3 Pro 5G smartphone is strong enough to withstand punctures, its maker Oppo claims to underscore the layer of protection built into the device.

A standout feature of this device is its durability. The smartphone features a special screen glass that is less likely to puncture when dropped, damaged when drenched, covered in dust, or even run over. It is also certified as water, dust, and thermal shock resistant.

Launched on June 21, the Opposite A3 Pro 5G runs on the Android 14 Operating System (OS) ColorOS 14.0.1. It features a splash touch display with a size of 6.67 inches (107.2 cm2) and a resolution of 720 x 1604+ HD pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of design, the sleek phone weighs about 185g, with dimensions of 16.58cm in height, 7.61cm in width, and 0.77cm in thickness. The Oppo A3 Pro 5G is powered by a 6300 (6nm) Mediatek Dimensity chipset with an Octa-core (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x Cortex-A55) CPU.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5100mAh non-removable battery capacity that supports 45W fast charging via a Type-C cable. The device also offers two storage options: 128GB with 8GB RAM and 256GB with 8GB RAM , and it also includes a microSDXC card slot with dual SIM (Nano).

The Oppo A3 Pro 5G features a dual 50MP rear camera and a single 8MP front camera. For added security, the Oppo A3 Pro 5G supports both fingerprint and facial recognition.
